What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities :
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related incidents and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering and / or exiting the premises as required by site-specific protocols.Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements.Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as needed during incidents and / or drills.Remain alert and attentive while on duty, adapting to changing environments and situations within the government facility.What We're Looking For :

Have at least 1 year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military roles.Possess an armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us :
