Charge Assurance Specialist

A company is looking for a Charge Assurance Specialist to coordinate with auditors and ensure optimal charge capture in revenue management.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate with Charge Assurance Auditor to resolve charge capture issues leading to claim errors

Monitor and resolve charge-related claim edit work queues and dashboards

Conduct research on claim edit errors and collaborate with Revenue Integrity departments for resolution

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED

1-3 years of charge capture experience (preferred)

1-3 years of patient accounting systems experience (preferred)

Familiarity with medical records review and claims processing

Fundamental knowledge of Medicare / Medicaid guidelines
