Innova Solutions has a client seeking a highly experienced Senior Penetration Tester / DAST Specialist.

Job Title : Senior Penetration Tester / DAST Specialist

Locations : Charlotte, NC | Chandler, AZ | Irving, TX | New York, NY | San Francisco, CA : Hybrid (On-site 3 days)

Contract Type : Contract / Fulltime

Duration : 12+ Months

As a Senior Penetration Tester / DAST Specialist you will be : Responsible for assessing the security posture of web applications and APIs through both manual and automated testing, with a strong focus on Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST).

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and conduct manual and automated penetration testing of web applications and APIs.
• Configure and fine-tune DAST tools (including login / authentication macros) for accurate and thorough scans.
• Analyze scan results to identify valid security vulnerabilities and eliminate false positives.
• Troubleshoot scanning issues and ensure successful execution of assessments.
• Produce clear, detailed, and technically accurate reports with risk assessments and remediation guidance.
• Collaborate with developers and security teams to support the remediation of identified issues.
• Stay current with emerging security threats, technologies, and best practices.
