Flight Test Control Engineer (FTCE)

This position is for a Flight Test Control Engineer (FTCE) within the Test and Evaluation directorate based in Greenville, SC. The role involves supporting the modification of USAF flight test aircraft at Eglin AFB, Florida.

Key Responsibilities :

• Flight Test Aircraft Modification Support : Provide engineering support for flight test aircraft modifications and ground operations.
• Coordination and Execution of Tasks : Direct aircraft modifications, coordinate and execute engineering-directed tasks, including ground testing, maintenance on test hardware, and pre-flight / post-flight activities.
• Configuration Management : Control and track aircraft configuration, coordinate support equipment, develop and maintain test schedules, and collaborate with involved organizations.
• Point of Contact : Act as a liaison for the Test and Evaluation directorate, requiring strong communication skills with all management levels.
