Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and forward-thinking Market Intelligence Analyst to join our enterprise software team focused on data, analytics, and AI. This role will be instrumental in guiding product strategy and development through deep market insight, competitive intelligence, and thought leadership. The ideal candidate will blend strategic acumen with strong domain knowledge in AI, data platforms, and analytics technologies.
As part of the Product Strategy organization, you will partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, Go-to-Market, and Executive Leadership to deliver insights that influence critical decisions-from roadmap prioritization to innovation investments.
Responsibilities
Strategic Market Analysis : Track and analyze trends in the data, analytics, and AI software ecosystem, including developments in cloud data platforms, LLMs, predictive analytics, data governance, MLOps, and enterprise AI adoption.
Competitive Intelligence : Conduct analyses of competitors' offerings, strategies, partnerships, and market positioning across data and analytics platforms, data ecosystems, and AI / ML toolkits.
Product & R&D Advisory : Work closely with product and engineering teams to align intelligence findings with product vision and development efforts. Influence feature prioritization, market fit, and innovation pathways.
Voice of Customer & Buyer Insights : Work with our customer insight team to identify evolving customer needs, procurement behaviours, and AI / data maturity trends by synthesizing insights from customer interviews, sales feedback, win / loss analysis, and industry forums.
Strategic Planning & Forecasting : Support long-term planning with segmentation frameworks, opportunity assessments, and competitive positioning models.
Thought Leadership : Produce executive-ready briefings and whitepapers that articulate key strategic themes, technology disruptors, and emerging opportunities in the data and AI ecosystem.
Required :
10+ years of experience in market intelligence, product strategy, or competitive analysis in the enterprise software or cloud data industry or as an industry analyst at a leading firm.
Strong domain knowledge in data analytics platforms, AI / ML, enterprise software architectures, and cloud ecosystems (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Experience supporting product management or R&D functions in a complex, multi-product enterprise environment.
Deep familiarity with research platforms (e.g., Gartner, IDC, BARC), analytics tools and market modeling.
Outstanding communication and storytelling skills with the ability to translate technical insights into strategic business recommendations.
Preferred :
Experience working with or analyzing products in the data, analytics and AI space.
Familiarity with GenAI / LLMs and their impact on enterprise software product strategy.

US : Hiring Range in USD from : $139,400 to $291,800 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off : Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
