The Honolulu Board of Water Supply is looking for a Program Administrator to direct the Field Operations Division in administering all of the divisions programs. See the "Minimum Qualification Requirements" section for the complete education, experience, and license requirements for the position.
As a Program Administrator, your duties and responsibilities will include :
Special Work Requirements : Position classified as a Disaster Response Worker and is required to staff the Departmental Operations Center (DOC) in times of emergency. Works in adverse weather conditions and additional hours as necessary to oversee and coordinate emergency repairs to restore water service as quickly and safely as possible.
If you qualify for the position, your name will be established to an eligible list. This list may be used to fill current and / or future vacancies in this department.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
At time of application, you must be a citizen, national, or permanent resident alien of the United States or a non-citizen eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment.
Education Requirement : Equivalent to graduation from a regionally-accredited college or university with a bachelors degree in engineering. Education obtained outside of the United States must be comparable to a degree earned at a regionally-accredited college / university in the United States. In order to receive credit for the education, a foreign credential evaluation (FCE) must be provided.
Verification Requirement : You may submit evidence of your education. Experience Requirement : Four (4) years of administrative experience relating to the design, construction, installation, and / or maintenance of a major facilities or systems encompassing field operations of a large geographic area. License Requirement : Possession of a valid license as a professional engineer in the State of Hawaii. Applicants with a current out-of-state professional engineer license must obtain their Hawaii license prior to appointment.
