Position Overview

We are looking for a Library Modernization consultant who will support strategic planning and implementation for refreshing aging physical collections and expanding digital content offerings. Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend business process improvements aligned with community needs and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Conduct collection audits and usage analysis for physical and digital assets
• Recommend weeding strategies and reallocation of physical materials
• Evaluate digital licensing models and vendor platforms
• Identify opportunities for digitization, consortia participation, and shared services
• Map current workflows and propose process improvements (e.g., acquisitions, cataloging, circulation)
• Prepare stakeholder-ready documentation and presentations
