Principal Product Manager - Agentic AI and Tech Transfer for Audio, Video and Motion
We are seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead agentic AI initiatives and tech transfer operations for Audio, Video and Motion Products across desktop, web, mobile, and enterprise services. This senior technical PM will define strategy, roadmap, and execution for AI agentic workflows, understand technical underpinnings, anticipate user needs, automate complex workflows, and enable breakthrough creative possibilities. You will collaborate with Adobe research and core engineering teams to prioritize AI use cases and bridge R&D to production-ready features.
This is a highly visible leadership role spanning product, engineering, AI research, design, and go-to-market teams to deliver AI agents that integrate into professional video editing workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the vision and strategy for agentic AI across the product line, aligned with company goals and market opportunities.
- Collaborate with engineering leaders on a corporate-wide agent framework to meet agentic product vision needs.
- Drive an innovation pipeline from prototypes to product integration by working with product, research and tech transfer teams to move technologies from R&D to product, ensuring AI innovations are productized, integrated, and launched successfully.
- Translate user pain points into AI-driven solutions that save time, reduce complexity, and expand creative potential.
- Partner with AI / ML teams to define agent behaviors, decision-making frameworks, and integration points within editing tools.
- Build and maintain a multi-year roadmap for expressive, assistive and corrective AI capabilities.
- Define success metrics and KPIs for agent performance, user satisfaction, and creative impact.
- Stay ahead of AI research and competitor activity to maintain category-leading tools.
- Collaborate with design on strategy and new UI / UX concepts for human-AI collaboration.
- Participate in defining strategies to use 3D and AI to reinvent the next generation of storytelling.
- Champion the voice of the customer through interviews, usability testing, and workflow studies.
- Partner with marketing and sales to support product positioning, messaging, and launch strategies.
What We're Looking For
Required :
8+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 in a senior or principal-level role.Strong understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, particularly in generative and agentic AI.Proven track record of shipping complex, high-impact features in a cross-functional environment.Experience guiding innovations from research stage to commercial product.Deep empathy for creative professionals and understanding of video production workflows.Excellent communication skills, both technical and business oriented.Preferred :
Experience with large language models, computer vision, or multimodal AI systems.Background in film, TV, or digital video production.Familiarity with prompt engineering, reinforcement learning, or AI agent orchestration frameworks.Prior experience bridging R&D and product delivery in a fast-moving market.Compensation and Additional Information
Base pay range : $145,100.00 / yr - $273,200.00 / yr. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets and can vary by location and experience. The recruiter can share the specific salary range for your location during hiring.
At Adobe, for sales roles salaries express total target compensation (TTC) for base plus commission; non-sales roles express base salary with potential annual incentives. Some roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
