Job descriptionCompetitive base salary + RVUs Full benefits Medical malpractice with tail Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) National Institutes of Health (NIH) Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Active unencumbered OB / GYN Physician New York state license Graduate from a fully accredited Doctorate of Medicine or Osteopathic Physician program One year of work experience as OB / GYN Physician One year of EMR experience Board Certified Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills. Participates in relevant continuing education programs. Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients. Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise. A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital. Effective interpersonal / communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks. COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster

A leading medical center in Brooklyn, New York, has an opening for a Director of Labor & Delivery to join their team.
Lead a reputable team and enjoy a mix of clinical and administrative responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Flexible Schedule : 8-hour shifts
- Annual Volume : 6k deliveries
- 50% clinical, 50% administrative
- 48-bed Level III NICU
- Team Structure : Laborists, generalists, midwives, MFM, PAs, residents
- 10+ years of post-residency / fellowship experience required
- Previous leadership experience required
- Must be board-certified or board-eligible
