Job description

Associate degree in technical field or vocational / trade school certification, plus seven years' prior work experience in custom order manufacturing or fabrication environment, or equivalent education and experience.

Advanced and extensive welding experience with MIG and TIG, including troubleshooting and repair of weld equipment and fixtures.

Extensive experience using and setting up weld fixtures as well as performing product layout per print.

Developed understanding of weld criteria and inspection methods.

Advanced mechanical / technical and troubleshooting skills.

Advanced knowledge of manufacturing policies, procedures and practices applicable to power transformer operations.

Advanced experience reading manufacturing drawings / specifications, blueprints or work instructions.

Developed math and geometry skills.

Advanced knowledge of applicable safety procedures and policies.

Developed skills and knowledge in the use of basic industrial measuring tools.

Developed skills in the proper use of various hand and power tools.
