Job Description:
The Senior Recruiter will act as a valuable partner to HR and the business as it relates to Talent Acquisition programs and processes. This role will help lead and manage the full-cycle recruiting process while partnering with global recruiting teams to strategize sourcing, attracting, hiring and retaining a high performing workforce.
The Day to Day:
- Manage and execute full-cycle recruitment for all corporate office and site leadership positions while building and maintaining positive relationships with SSR’s Hiring Managers.
- Source high-quality candidates through proactive outreach, job boards, social media, networking, and employee referrals.
- Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and guide candidates through the interview process.
- Coordinate interview schedules and debrief sessions with hiring teams.
- Partner with communications team to contribute to employer branding initiatives and recruitment marketing campaigns.
- Analyze recruitment metrics to better understand recruiting trends and lead changes to improve overall company recruiting performance.
- Build robust candidate pipelines for key positions at all global sites while acting as a SME in creative sourcing techniques and a thoughtful leader in the recruiting space.
- Analyze sourcing channels, social platforms, and advertising effectiveness, to provide recommendations on options for the business.
- Partner with other Human Resources teams to ensure a seamless candidate and employee experience.
- Provide training as needed for Hiring Managers and site recruiting personnel on Recruiting Best Practices and HRIS Platform.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and HR teams to align Workday workflows with hiring processes, improving efficiency, and user experience.
- Partner with Site HR teams to improve talent attraction and retention, and assist in creative sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill positions.
- Support current vendor relationships and lead new vendor partnerships.
Is this you?
- 6+ years in Talent Acquisition with a minimum of 3 years in a corporate setting.
- Experience in a global environment is required, with preference given to candidates with a background in the mining or industrial sectors.
- Experience managing the Recruiting aspects of an HRIS system (Workday).
- Comfortable building and presenting recruiting data analysis.
- Strong business acumen – you understand each corporate division’s needs and plan appropriately to ensure their teams have the talent they require.
- Extensive experience partnering with cross-functional business leaders providing exceptional client service.
- Experience building talent acquisition campaigns for hard-to-fill roles in global locations.
- Proven ability to build trust and credibility with stakeholders, effectively influencing outcomes that align with organizational goals while prioritizing an exceptional candidate experience.
- Approach problem-solving with creative, collaborative, and an optimistic mindset.
- Strong verbal and written presentation skills including the ability to tailor key messages to multiple different audiences.
- Innovative professional with a strong sense of urgency, thriving in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Comfortable working in ambiguity and easily adapt to change.
- Critical thinker with success in developing innovative solutions to business issues
- Able to comfortably move between strategic issues and day-to-day HR operations.
- Well versed in O365 including MS PowerPoint and Excel.
For applicants residing in CO, the salary range for this role is from $100,000 to $115,000.
