BSA / AML Compliance Analyst

We're looking for a skilled, detail-focused BSA / AML Compliance Specialist to support the BSA, AML, and OFAC Compliance programs. This role assists with monitoring, investigation, and reporting of suspicious activity; conducting risk assessments; and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. This position assists with regulatory research, compliance reviews, risk assessments, and reporting to help the bank mitigate risk and maintain a strong culture of compliance.

Key Responsibilities :

• Review daily and periodic alerts generated from the bank's BSA / AML monitoring system.
• Assist with monitoring and investigating transactions for potential suspicious activity.
• Support completion of Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) reviews.
• Help ensure compliance with OFAC and other sanctions screening requirements.
• Escalate cases requiring further review or filing of Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs).
• Assist in preparing and filing SARs and Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs) in accordance with FinCEN requirements.
• Supports Compliance in conducting annual compliance risk assessments.
• Assist in coordinating responses to internal audits and regulatory examinations.
• Gather requested documentation, ensure timely responses, track remediation efforts, and assists with other compliance tasks as requested by the Compliance Officer and / or BSA Officer.
• Maintain a current knowledge base of emerging compliance risks and trends impacting the bank.
