Director of Medical Services
CSI Companies has an immediate opening for a qualified individual to join our client’s healthcare team as the Director of Medical Staff Services.
As the Director, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the credentialing, appointment, and evaluation processes for our medical staff and Advanced Practice Professionals.
Position : Director, Medical Staff Services
Location : Tallahassee, FL
Type : Full-time, No Weekends
Status : Direct Hire / Permanent
Compensation : 100,000-130,000 per year with 15% annual discretionary bonus
Responsibilities :
- the credentialing process for medical staff, Advanced Practice Professionals, and vendors to ensure competence and compliance with organizational standards.
- and implement department policies and procedures related to credentialing.
- as recording secretary for Credentials Committee and prepare reports for Executive Committee and Board of Trustees.
- and enforce federal and state laws, Joint Commission standards, and Medical Staff Bylaws.
- with committees to develop amendments to Bylaws as necessary.
- and support medical staff officers, committee chairs, and healthcare professionals in fulfilling their responsibilities.
Qualifications :
- Degree required
- of 5 years of experience in a medical staff setting
- Certified Professional Medical Staff Management (CPMSM) and / or Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) preferred
- of State, Federal, and JCAHO regulations
- credentialing and management experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- hospital credentialing experience required
- hold a director-level position
