LHH is seeking a Senior Tax Associate with strong experience to join a small, experienced tax team known for its exceptional tenure, quiet and focused culture, and strong commitment to professional growth. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, stable environment and enjoys being hands-on with workpapers, consolidations, and tax compliance. This is a hybrid role with flexibility and the anticipated salary is between $120,000-$150,000 a year.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare tax forms and returns on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis (FATCA, FBAR, VAT, GST, etc.)
- Review domestic and international partnership and corporate income tax returns
- Prepare detailed tax computations, workpapers, and schedules
- Prepare and review quarterly and year-end U.S. and foreign tax provisions
- Handle quarterly and year-end tax estimates and extensions
- Maintain and analyze tax basis for partnerships and LLCs
- Respond to tax notices and inquiries and liaise with tax authorities
- Review tax elections and ensure compliance with various tax agencies
- Participate in special projects and research assignments as needed
Qualifications :
4-6 years of relevant corporate / partnership tax experienceCPA or Master's in Taxation preferred, not requiredProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, and tax software (e.g., BNA Online, File-In-Time)Industry experience (not exclusively from public accounting)Proven corporate and partnership tax experience in multi-entity environmentsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines independentlyHigh attention to detail, self-motivated, and proactive with strong initiativeExcellent communication, research, and writing skillsAbility to thrive in a hands-on, detail-oriented work environmentBenefits :
