Position Summary
Join our innovative Mainframe Automation team, where you will play a crucial role in enhancing the design and performance of our automation development. You'll be involved in integrating platforms such as Envision X, AIR, and Sidekick, along with architectural design for multiple platforms, including Automation Point, OPS / MVS, and zOSMF.
Key Responsibilities
- Leverage your system knowledge and project management expertise to design automation solutions across various platforms.
- Engineer solutions that align tool capabilities with business needs, delivering an exceptional client experience.
- Identify and create solutions that minimize human intervention, allowing teams to concentrate on problem management by automating responses to specific alerts.
- Utilize agile development methodologies to deliver efficient and effective solutions.
- Evaluate and analyze existing tools to uncover gaps and opportunities for proactive issue detection before they impact service availability.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, with 10 years of development experience preferred, or a comparable combination of education and experience.A strong passion for creating superior client experiences and building high-quality technology solutions.A drive to solve complex problems and continuously improve tool performance through automation.A curiosity and eagerness to learn, viewing each challenge as a new opportunity.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively convey information and build trusted relationships.Strong technical insight and a passion for discovering new methods to deliver innovative solutions.Other Qualifications
Proficient in software development and coding practices, including writing and documenting code.Experience with programming languages such as REXX and Assembler.Familiarity with version control and source code management platforms, like GitHub.Knowledge of software development issue tracking and agile project management tools including Jira or Bugzilla (Scrum and Kanban).Understanding of mainframe operating systems, particularly z / OS and MVS.Experience with software packaging and distribution processes.Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) for IT service delivery.Familiarity with IT operations management (ITOM) software for managing tools, environments, and processes.Understanding of the ITIL framework and its service lifecycle.Knowledge of DevOps and agile methodologies and their practical applications.About Us

According to the current pay scale for this role, the estimated salary range is $85,000 to $148,000 annually based on a full-time schedule. The specific placement within the range will depend on various factors including skills, experience, and business needs. In addition to the base salary, we offer other compensation programs that may include performance-based annual bonuses and equity grants.
