Director, Customer Experience - Marketing & Advertising

The position focuses on developing business and providing services to clients throughout the New England area.
What You'll Do
- Provide advisory consulting leading strategic conversations, capturing requirements, and presenting data-driven recommendations to client leadership
- Grow Slalom New England's business by participating in new business development activities, developing proposals, guiding solution design, establishing partnerships with key technology vendors and identifying opportunities in the adtech / martech landscape
- Support the building and management of a high-performing team of adtech and martech specialists, providing mentorship and professional development
- Drive strategic value for our clients by developing measurement frameworks, data strategies, and advising on marketing technology roadmaps for digital maturity
- Lead technology evaluations for advertising and marketing technology solutions, with expertise in programmatic strategies and cross-channel attribution
- Deliver actionable insights through diagnostic tools and analytics that optimize media spend and campaign performance
- Oversee implementation of marketing technology platforms while ensuring data privacy compliance and proper resource allocation
- Foster innovation by staying ahead of industry trends and identifying new opportunities for clients and the practice
What You'll Bring
8+ years of experience in digital marketing with at least 3 years in leadership roles, preferably in consulting environmentsProven new business development experience with demonstrated success in identifying opportunities, crafting compelling proposals, and closing deals for marketing technology and analytics servicesStrong client relationship management skills with proven ability to lead client interviews, communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and provide strategic analysis to diverse audiencesTrack record of building high-performing teams and managing marketing analytics practices in consulting settingsTechnical expertise across marketing technologies, including analytics platforms, tag management solutions, and advertising technologyStrategic mindset for developing measurement frameworks and analytics roadmaps that drive client business outcomesDeep understanding of the digital media ecosystem including programmatic advertising, audience targeting, and campaign optimizationExcellent analytical and communication skills with ability to create compelling data narratives and actionable insightsExperience implementing marketing technology solutions (e.g. marketing automation, Google, Adobe, and Salesforce platforms, analytics, DMPs, CDPs, and CRM solutions) in client environmentsBachelor's degree in relevant field; MBA or advanced degree preferredSuccess in this Role Looks Like

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this Director level position, the base salary pay range is $175,000 to $255,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
