Sr. Manager, Initiatives
The Senior Manager of Beverage Initiatives drives Red Bull growth by ensuring that product shows up in a premium way and receives the support from all cross functional teams across head office and the regions to make it a success that bolsters Red Bull's share in the energy category. They are responsible to activate product launches at a regional level via culturally relevant vehicles of execution. These activations aim to build awareness, trial, repeat and share of requirements of Red Bull's product portfolio. This position is responsible for managing 360 marketing elements in collaboration with cross functional teams. The Senior Manager supports planning, development and cross-functional alignment for 360 marketing plans for product-focused campaigns run throughout the year- with a focus on region product launch activations and Event Product Planogram during key national pillars. They will identify gaps and opportunities via analyzing insights, events and region feedback, and devise solutions for those gaps.
Job Description
Product Driven Campaign Strategy
Support the annual business plan, long lead initiatives strategy, and innovation activation strategies that increase our brand and portfolio relevance, drive awareness and trial, and ultimately increase consumption.
Is the interface between head office and regions for the regional product launch activations supporting the Initiatives Director. The Senior Manager works closely with Directors of Brand from 5 regions across the United States reviewing region plans, providing feedback to Directors of Brand, drawing up best practices and holding regions accountable to tenets of region product launch activations.
The Senior Manager is also responsible to refine the strategy, define success metrics, analyze and derive insights to develop post campaign learning agendas.
They will republish region product launch activation guidelines annually, provide creative principles, manage timelines, define ways of working, and ensure that ongoing execution is consistent with annual portfolio principles.
Owns the relationship with the Directors of Brand and regional teams to align objectives, priorities and innovative activation tactics between the US Head Office and Regions.
With the help of the Initiatives Director, the Senior Manager reviews annual Region product launch activation plans, green lights ideas, allocates budgets, and manages those budgets throughout the year. They do this by ensuring that prioritization and spending align to our national portfolio strategy.
Provides guidance, clear expectations and executional support to Region Brand Teams to ensure new product launches are the talk of the town through localized marketing activations.
Tracks performance and best practices to enhance regional activations ongoing. Owns recaps for all product-driven campaigns; responsible for leading cross functional teams in analyzing activation performance across marketing, delivering learnings and future recommendations to leadership teams.
Develops internal playbooks / tools to ensure full organizational comprehension of product driven campaign strategy. They leverage insights to develop strategy documents and campaign briefs that drive all other cross-functional department development for region product launch activations.
Event Product Planogram
The Senior Manager defines and upholds processes on how Red Bull products show up during all Red Bull titled events, 3rd party events and field events.
They develop annual Event Product Planograms which includes onsite and offsite coolers. These include but aren't limited to on stage, off stage, in VIP areas, On Premise, at Welcome dinners, After Parties, etc.
They work with Directors of Brand from the 5 regions and their teams to review plans and provide timely feedback and alignments basis evolving portfolio prioritization.
Work with Red Bull Consumer Collecting on sampling strategy during events by providing guidance basis evolving portfolio priorities.
Manage existing ways of working with Directors of Brand, On Premise, and other region teams with clear defined processes and RACIs.
The Senior Manager attends and captures actual execution at all events and looks for process improvements.
Own post event recaps, after action reviews and feedback for cross functional teams to serve as a learning agenda when activating future events.
Beverage Initiatives Impact Across The Organization
Supports Director and Senior Director with insights and decks for multiyear / long term department planning.
Collaborates with Beverage Initiatives Product leads to launch new products successfully during region product launch activations.
Supports Director with project investment strategy and decision.
Develops a culture of Diversity & Inclusion and promotes the Red Bull Leadership Code and values.
Liaises with senior members of cross functional teams both in the head office and regions. Is the clear owner of key cross-functional relationships for assigned areas of responsibility.
Keeps close track of insights, category performance, competitive activity and educates broader teams.
Qualifications
5+ years marketing experience
Strong communication & presentation skills are a must
Highly organized and manages timelines and objectives effectively
Strategic thinker and passionate for achieving long-term success via hands on, solutions-oriented approach
Self-motivated, self-directed, flexible and be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Experience in supporting and facilitating cross-functional projects across sales and marketing
Analytical background and ability to analyze complex trends and data- experience with Circana and Numerator
Experience managing external partners to high quality of execution
Extremely proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

This position is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals who are currently authorized to work in the United States on a valid visa. The base salary range for this position is $85,360 $128,040 + cash incentives. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
