Marketing Analyst
As a member of the Digital Marketing Operations team, the Marketing Analyst will conduct market research and competitive audits, conduct reporting and analysis of websites and campaigns, monitor and interpret website visitor behavior, analyze website analytics, and generate insightful strategies for optimization.
The Marketing Analyst will work closely with digital marketing analysts and account service teams to create and operationalize campaigns (organic, paid media and email), providing insights on website traffic, engagement trends, funnel performance, conversion rates and other website related activity with the goal to improve overall website and campaign performance.
DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Work with account teams and client stakeholders to understand meaningful KPIs and ensure metrics are appropriately defined, implemented, and tested across digital properties.
- Complete competitive audits, detailing SEO analytics and website reviews.
- Lead the improvement and automation of digital analytics programs such as Whatagraph.
- Ensure accurate tracking, analysis, and reporting of website KPIs in analytics dashboards.
- Create measurable and meaningful goals and event tracking within Google analytics.
- Proactively monitor and provide reporting and action plans for digital campaigns.
- Conduct web analysis to showcase the user journey and recommend web page optimizations based on metric performance.
- Collaborate with internal digital marketing team to define and operationalize workflows requested to successfully test and analyze campaigns.
- Create and implement email campaigns in CRM tools such as HubSpot and MailChimp.
- Conduct market research and analysis related to competitive landscape, market trends, and business development
- Uncover insights and make recommendations based off of this analysis and research
- Distill complex marketing analysis into clear, simple presentations
- Track, analyze, and report marketing initiatives
- Approach web content and user flow with a test, learn and optimize methodology.
- Participate in prospect and client meetings to share findings and results.
- Remain up-to-date on the latest digital and marketing trends.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- 1-2 years experience holding an analytical, sales, business development, or business intelligence role
- Experience using the following platforms : SEO tools such as Ahrefs and / or SEMRuhs, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and CRM tools (Hubspot, MailChimp, Constant Contact and / or Salesforce).
- Google Analytics Certification preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in marketing, advertising, business administration, computer science or related field.
- Strong analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
