Director of Sales
- Worksite Location : St. Cloud, MN
- Compensation : $120,000-$160,000 per year plus bonus
What you will do as the Director of Sales :
Develop and implement the overall sales strategy for utility construction servicesIdentify new market opportunities and define target client segmentsExpand business within the existing client baseLead, coach, and develop a team of sales and business development professionalsSet performance goals, conduct regular reviews, and ensure access to necessary training and resourcesDrive pipeline growth by identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunitiesSecure contracts within baseload power generation, battery storage, and data center construction marketsBuild and maintain strong, long-term relationships with senior executives and decision-makers in the utility and industrial construction sectorsOversee proposal development and responses to RFPsLead contract negotiations to ensure favorable terms and alignment with company objectivesPrepare and present sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and business development results to senior leadershipWhat you will bring to the Director of Sales role :
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred10+ years of experience in sales and business development, with at least 5 years in a leadership roleDirect experience selling services in the power generation utility or industrial construction sectors strongly preferredExperience in the power generation industry, particularly nuclear, is a plusIn-depth understanding of power generation utilities and electrical infrastructure (transformers, electrical bus ducts, related components)Proven ability to design and execute strategic sales plansStrong leadership, mentoring, and team-building abilitiesProficiency in CRM systems, marketing automation tools, analytics platforms, and Microsoft 365 (Teams, Outlook, Excel, etc.)As an equal-opportunity employer, Dahl Consulting welcomes candidates of all backgrounds and experiences to apply.
