We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations for a high-profile infrastructure project. This is an opportunity to contribute to a landmark project while working with a team dedicated to operational excellence and innovation.
Responsibilities
As a Superintendent, you will :
- Oversee all construction efforts to ensure the project is completed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule.
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise on-site functions, including scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance of crafts and subcontractors with contract documents, efficient use of materials and equipment, and adherence to the project schedule.
- Provide technical guidance, including interpreting drawings, recommending construction methods, and selecting appropriate equipment.
- Collaborate with project management to develop schedules, site logistics plans, and project procedures.
- Support and enforce the Site-Specific Safety Plan.
- Coordinate effectively with on-site client representatives.
- Perform additional tasks as directed by the project leadership team.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have :
A four-year degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred but not required).20+ years of supervisory experience in large-scale heavy civil infrastructure projects valued at $200M or more.At least 10 years of experience as a construction superintendent or in craft supervision for new building / structure construction, including expertise in piles, concrete, and structural steel.Strong knowledge of U.S. construction methods, techniques, and standards.Experience working with city, state, or federal government clients is preferred.Proficiency in contract management and familiarity with local trade unions and craft labor.Competence in software tools such as MS Word, Excel, Procore, Bluebeam, and HCSS HeavyBid.OSHA certification and First Aid certification.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Why Join Us?
