Accountant Position

Hobart Filler Metals, an ITW company, is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our onsite team in Troy, OH. In this role, you'll partner directly with the Accounting Manager to ensure the accuracy and reliability of our financial operations. Your work managing payroll, leading month-end close, reconciling accounts, and overseeing raw material inventory will directly support informed business decisions, safeguard company resources, and drive operational success.

How You Will Make An Impact :

• Coordinate with managers and the corporate payroll team to process payroll accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare the business unit's overhead department budget for Annual Plan and monthly reporting.
• Prepare and report operational metrics for distribution to the organization.
• Support the business unit through the analysis and explanation of the business unit's monthly expenses.
• Manage cash account balances and deposits as needed.
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations to ensure financial statements are supported by both proper and sufficient documentation.
• Responsible for ensuring all journal entries are completed accurately and timely to meet all month-end and quarter-end close due dates.
