Job Summary

Aptive is seeking an Agile Coach with proven Information Technology (IT) experience in enterprise-wide program planning and implementation to support enterprise human capital program strategy and support services within the Office of Personnel Management (OPM).

This role requires an expert who can apply Agile methodologies (. Scrum, SAFe, Lean, Kanban) to aid in managing a suite of product and service teams.

The Agile Coach must have familiarity with human-centered design and Agile techniques aimed at providing a seamless experience for customers using online tools for talent acquisition.

A key part of success will be the ability to effectively collaborate across organizational barriers to accomplish high-priority and high-visibility goals.

This individual must be able to communicate effectively with both clients and team members to understand requirements and provide recommendations that have a direct impact on the program or mission.

Additionally, this individual must be able to become a trusted advisor, fostering relationships with potential clients to understand priorities and pain points that inform upcoming business development efforts.

The Agile Coach should be a self-starter, proactive problem-solver, timely communicator, and action-oriented team player.

The candidate must be committed to providing superior service, act poised in a fast-paced environment, and have a positive and flexible attitude.

This position is a full-time, contingent hire.

Primary Responsibilities

Serve as an expert to provide insight and advice concerning strategic direction and

applicability of IT solutions related to the successful design, development, control, and implementation of OPM systems.

  • Provide high-level vision to the program / project manager or senior client leadership to influence the objectives of complex efforts.
  • Contribute to data strategy, analysis, and integration activities.
  • Coach others on effective Agile development practices, including facilitating group discussions to solve problems and build consensus around solutions.
  • Support all aspects of Agile feature development, including conducting feature and release planning, scope management, risk assessment, technical integration and deployment planning, change control, testing, and roll-out / change management.
  • Provide Scrum Master leadership by coaching team members and contributing to the software development lifecycle.
  • Maintain schedules, metrics, and analytic reports to show progress and effectiveness of projects.
  • Organize and manage documentation related to standard operating procedures, while applying Agile methodologies (. Scrum, SAFe, Lean, Kanban) to aid in managing a suite of product and service teams.
  • Create and maintain administrative documents and reports.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or Certification in IT Management, Information and Innovative Technology, Cybersecurity, or another related domain.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in IT program and policy management services, knowledge management, correspondence management, and planning.
  • Agile Certification (. Certified ScrumMaster, Certified Scrum Product Owner, Certified Scrum Developer, Certified Agile Leadership, Certified Agile Coach, Scrum with Kanban, SAFe Agile, .
  • Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps (., AZ-900, AZ-400, or similar).
  • Demonstrated ability to operate within an integrated management tool, such as Azure DevOps, to support program and scrum team backlog management.
  • Demonstrated experience with enterprise-wide program planning and execution to implement software in a cloud environment.
  • Demonstrated analytical and presentation skills.
  • Legal authorization to work in the .
  • Minimum of an active Secret Clearnace or Tier 4 Public Trust
