FP&A Manager - Cost of Sales

Our Driver may be autonomous, but Waymo's finances are steered by experts like you. The Finance and Accounting group manages all aspects of our finances and serves as trusted advisors for all our strategic and enterprise endeavors. Along with managing compilation of our financial statements, looking after our cash and overseeing compliance, we partner closely with the business in overseeing company wide resource allocation, developing cutting edge compensation initiatives and generating detailed financial analyses to drive the business forward. We also develop advanced capital strategies to support the company's short- and long-term future.

In this hybrid role, you will report into our Head of Business Finance.

You will :

• Develop, maintain, and enhance intricate Cost of Sales financial models, to support long-range planning, annual plan, and robust scenario analysis; deliver a comprehensive suite of Cost of Sales reporting, including detailed Actual vs. Plan vs. Forecasts variance analysis
• Lead critical analysis for strategic initiatives, such as tracking market entry costs against plan to ensure successful and financially sound expansion
• Work closely with other FP&A partners to prepare the detailed Market P&L reporting and review presentations, align with xfn teams on the messaging and review contents to drive actions
• Take ownership of identifying and resolving systemic reconciliation issues, to ensure financial data integrity.
• Champion reporting and analysis process improvement by automating manual work through dashboarding and scripting, actively shifting the team's focus from tactical execution to generating non-obvious, strategic insights.

The expected base salary range for this full-time position across US locations is listed below. Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level.
