The Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games will be hosted in Los Angeles, California in 2028, returning to the United States for the first time in over 30 years. 2028 will be the first time LA hosts the Paralympic Games, creating an opportunity to expand awareness, understanding, and inclusion of people with disabilities.

The LA28 organizing committee is an independent, non-profit organization that is privately funded and governed by a board of directors.

Venue Press Operations Manager :
The Press Operations (PRS) Teams aim is to deliver high-quality spaces and services to the press (written and photographers) to cover the Olympic and Paralympic Games effectively. This includes the planning, management, and delivery of the Main Press Center (MPC), press operations within competition venues, and key Games-time services tailored to the needs of accredited press such as accommodation, accreditation, transportation, etc.
The PRS team works in close coordination with other LA28 functional areas to ensure that press has the infrastructure and support required to tell the stories of the Games to a global audience. From venue layouts and technical requirements to operational planning and Games-time execution, the PRS team plays a critical role in shaping the press experience at the Games.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Press Services, this person will work collaboratively across functional areas, external partners, and press stakeholders to ensure readiness and excellence in all aspects of press services delivery in the lead up to the Games Period and throughout the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Key Responsibilities :
Liaise with the International Olympic Committee (IOC)
Coordinate communications and manage the exchange of information with the IOCUnderstand, review and optimize all press delivery requirements with the IOCFacilitate and support venue site visits for the IOCLiaise with the IOC and the LA28 functional areas to address venue-related press needsAssist in planning and delivery of all World Press BriefingsWork with IOC and IPC to gather requirements, secure strategic alignment, streamline approvals, and identify optimization opportunitiesManagement & Oversight of all Venue Press Operations at LA28
Work with all LA28 functional areas on venue-related press areasCoordinate all milestones and deliverables for press with LA28 functional areas, IOC, IPC, and Press stakeholders (as appropriate)Support all infrastructure and technical planning for press services, including venue development of press areas at competition venues, non-competition venues, and Main Press Center (MPC)Assist in coordinating with local delivery partners to ensure readiness of press venuesCross-Functional Collaboration
Establish strong working relationships with key Functional Areas (e.g., Venue Infrastructure, Venue Management, Technology, Hospitality & Ticketing, Games Operations)Ensure press planning and services align with broader cross-functional timelines and objectivesCollaborate closely with Ticketing and Hospitality teams, particularly within the Seating Bowl Working Group, to address press needs in venuesBackground & Qualifications :

Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience, preferably with 7+ years of experience supporting large-scale event planning, venue operations, or facilities coordinationExperience working with a diverse range of stakeholders and proven success at building excellent working relationshipsExperience working across multiple functional areasRequired Expertise :

ResumeThe annual base salary range for this position is $85,000.00 - $105,000.00. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role.
