The Executive Assistant will play an active role on the investment team by supporting the President, Director of Investments and Director of Asset Management in a multitude of tasks requiring a variety of skills. The Executive Assistant will have the opportunity to become involved in all aspects of the business including finance, development and construction, leasing and partner relations, among others. This role is an integral part of the team, is responsible for helping to keep critical projects moving forward and includes potential for growth and advancement within the company. Additional responsibilities include :
Responsibilities
- Calendar management and meeting coordination
- Prepare meeting materials
- Prepare and edit correspondence, presentations, reports, etc.
- Organize and maintain filing systems
- Credit card and account management
- Travel coordination
- Complete special research projects and report on results
- Mailing
- Prepare expense reports
- Light personal assistance to President and Director of Investment
- Review and code invoices for payment
- Construction and other Project Management Assistance
Requirements
1-4+ years’ experience in an administrative support rolePrior experience in commercial real estate and development may be useful but is not requiredWillingness to work outside normal business hours to support President, Director of Investments and Director of Asset Management as needed for urgent projectsExceptional organizational and multitasking skillsAbility to juggle multiple and sometimes conflicting demandsStrong time management skillsSelf-motivated and eager to learn with the ability to recognize what you don’t knowStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to independently problem solveProficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPointProficient in Adobe AcrobatAbility to learn new software programsMust thrive in a teamwork environmentEducation
BA / BS requiredCompensation
$50-0$60 / hrly
