Senior National Health Plan Strategy Consultant IV, Strategic Planning & Analysis

Georgia location only. The Strategic Market Planning & Analytics team at Kaiser Permanente is seeking dynamic team members to support and enable national health plan business strategies, growth initiatives, and performance monitoring. This position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams across the organization to identify growth opportunities, foster alignment, and drive strategic initiatives. This role is responsible for developing and executing short and long-term strategies, analyzing data to inform business decisions, identifying and monitoring performance measures, accelerating growth, and leading communication and change management efforts.

In addition to the responsibilities listed above, this position is also responsible for managing business strategy and / or initiative planning by developing a new organizational strategy process and coordinating key players for leadership strategy conversations; facilitating leadership decision making by leveraging advanced knowledge of the external marketplace and relevant tools (i.e., dashboards to track metrics); coordinating strategy community of practices by facilitating knowledge sharing across functions and entities to identify the right strategic priorities; developing frameworks to facilitate strategy development by leveraging Strength Weakness Opportunity Threat (SWOT) and gap analyses to ensure that strategic opportunities are correctly identified; prioritizing strategic choices through enterprise processes and market operational plans to establish management incentives; and providing ongoing initiative management and prioritization in real time through performance monitoring using relevant tools (i.e., dashboards, scorecards, leader reviews).

• Contributes to the development and execution of business strategy by : developing moderately complex strategic proposals based on business case and advanced knowledge of health care marketplace; assessing the scope of the problem to be addressed and the resources needed; identifying strategic options based on problem scoping; recommending challenging business goals and the processes and resources needed to accomplish them; ensuring alignment around the strategic plan and intended outcomes, and finding opportunities for collaboration and synergy within a function; ensuring application of strategies to mitigate moderately complex barriers, constraints, and risks to execution; and assessing and adjusting strategic direction in response to a changing environment.
