Mover / Driver (contractor) - CDL Class B
Employment Type : Full-time - Contractor (1099)
Compensation : $22 to $26 per hour (plus commission)
We are seeking a Mover / Driver with commercial truck driver CDL class B to join our team!
You will be responsible for safely operating a 26' straight truck for a mix of Local and Long-distance jobs, and for moving furniture from one location to another, ensuring that the items are not damaged.

Responsibilities :
- Safely operate a 26' straight truck
- Load and unload cargo (mostly household goods), pack and crate, disassemble and reassemble furniture
- Properly track and document activity log
- Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
- Inspect truck before and after trip
Requirements
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in moving or similar fields
- At least 1 year of truck driving experience and a clean driving record
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong work ethic. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
Other Requirements :
- CDL class B license
- Pass pre-employment substance abuse screening, background check, and DOT physical
- Follow all federal and / or state laws, regulations, and / or agency rules, standards and guidelines
