Airswift is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to work with one of its major clients in Chesterfield, MO on a 6-month contract.
Summary :
Our client is looking for a Mechanical Engineer for their laboratory automation space.
Responsibilities :
- Working on designs, calculations, builds, and testing of various hardware components.
- working knowledge of safety, project management, fabrication print best practices, 3D printing, and experience in necessary hand tools within industry.
- Researching products online, provide CAD drawings and write technical documents (assembly instructions, bill of materials, machine shop prints, and presentations)
- Assist in assembling prototypes, running tests, participate in design reviews.
- Must be able to work with other engineers and researchers both locally and remotely.
- Individual will be working with other engineers, maintenance teams, scientists, machine shop, carpenters, electricians, technicians, and vendors.
Desires :
- Working knowledge of safety and project management
- Fabrication print practices, 3D printing
- Experience in necessary hand tools within industry.
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience with CAD, SolidWorks and PDM.
