Product Manager - Sms / Email Marketing

Insight Globals client is looking for a Product Manager to Focus on SMS Marketing as a Product. They are looking for someone who knows what do you measure with KPIs, how do you know if the communication was successful with the SMS Marketing campaigns, what was successful what wasnt. This person will be working cross functionally with the engineering teams and should have a solid understanding of technical terminologies and articulate the requirements into technical terms. This person should be able to do Business Analyst type work, product backlog management, understanding the scope of the effort. Gathering requirements, being able to deliver them. This person will be executing now, but they will then do strategy in the next steps. They are currently migrating from one version of Cisco to a more updated version. Need to have an ability to understand the technical and create the stories, new features, review the API documentation, etc and translating that into capabilities we need to develop.

All SMS and email marketing campaigns.

Oversee the development and implementation of SMS software solutions

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Business, Cross-functional Product, engineering, design, marketing

Define and document product requirements for new features , enhancements including platform migration.

Analyze engagement data , track KPIs, Plan and execute A / B tests.

Ensure compliance with SMS regulations and implement guardrails to prevent messaging abuse

Prioritize high-impact features and create product roadmaps

Right now they are using cisco- not sure what channel they are going to pick (could stick with cisco)

Experience with other messaging channels like RCS, WhatsApp, and push notifications

Familiarity with user growth and engagement strategies

Proficiency in data analytics tools PowerBI, Adobe Analytics

Strong Analytical and Problem solving skills

Experience working with copywriters to define / test SMS / Rich Text copies.

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

Passion for technology and innovation in the messaging space

Minimum of 6-8 years of software product management experience

Strong background in SMS technologies (OR email is fine too) and understanding of the SMS messaging landscape - Examples of what they should know : What do you measure with KPI's, etc. How do you know communication was successful with the SMS marketing campaign, what works, what doesnt.

Experience with SaaS delivery models

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Strategic thinking and ability to make data-driven decisions

Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools like ADO

Experience in user testing and data analysis

Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
