Job description

As a Quality Assurance Automation Specialist at RedSail Technologies, you will have the opportunity to enhance your expertise in test automation, DevOps practices, and data management. This role involves developing advanced automation scripts and contributing to the CI / CD pipeline while working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of top-notch software products.

Your responsibilities will include :

  • Developing, maintaining, and improving automation scripts using sophisticated frameworks such as Playwright, Robot, Cypress, etc.
  • Conducting code reviews and optimizing automated test scripts for better efficiency.
  • Integrating automated tests into the build process to support continuous integration.
  • Performing thorough debugging and troubleshooting of automation scripts.
  • Collaborating with manual QA to identify and prioritize test cases for automation.
  • Implementing monitoring and alerting systems for automated test failures.
  • Partnering with developers to comprehend intricate requirements and crafting robust test cases.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent experience, along with at least 3 years of professional technical experience in software.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in test automation, software engineering, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with RedSail applications or other pharmacy management systems is a plus.
  • Proficiency in agile processes.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing, particularly Azure, is a bonus.
  • Strong experience in API testing.
  • Solid background in automation testing.
  • Advanced knowledge of software development methodologies, design, and implementation.
  • Expertise in programming languages such as Node.js, Python, or C# for developing test scripts and automation solutions.
  • Experience using open-source load testing tools like JMeter, K6, Gatling, etc.
  • Additional Skills :

  • Strong analytical and design skills across multiple product levels.
  • Proficient in research, analysis, planning, and implementation.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the software development process, including specifications, documentation, quality assurance, and release management.
  • A good grasp of business issues and their impact on overall plans.
  • Effective time management, decision-making, organization, and problem resolution skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and human relations.
  • Independent judgment and discretion based on experience and knowledge of products, equipment, and services.
  • This position may involve moderate levels of stress and is conducted in a general office environment, a home office, or an approved remote workspace where the physical tasks include, but are not limited to, sitting, standing, reaching, kneeling, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs. Daily usage of Microsoft Teams, computer, printer, and other routine office equipment is required, and internet access is necessary.
