Environment, Health and Safety Manager

Our client is a multi-million dollar, global, industry-leading thermal technology manufacturer with over 13,000 employees operating on 4 continents. For more than 100 years, they have served the Automotive, Truck, Off-Highway / Construction, and HVAC&R industries with cutting-edge customized heating and cooling solutions.

We are recruiting an EHS Manager to lead the design and implementation of environmental, health, and safety systems for our clients new manufacturing facility. This role is vital to ensuring a safe and compliant start-up while building a strong safety culture from day one, in support of our clients mission to safely produce cooling and infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and training programs for a new manufacturing site.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• Lead job hazard analyses, risk assessments, and incident investigations to identify and mitigate risks.
• Create and deliver safety orientation and training for all new hires and contractors.
• Design and implement environmental management systems, including waste handling, emissions control, and regulatory reporting.
• Conduct regular audits, inspections, and corrective actions to maintain a safe and compliant workplace.
• Partner with leadership and employees to foster a proactive, behavior-based safety culture.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

This is a full-time, mid-senior level position in the Manufacturing industry.
