Position Summary : A Manufacturing Engineer at Satellite Suites would be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of the manufacturing processes, ensuring the production of restroom trailers and related products is done safely, effectively, and efficiently while implementing cost-saving initiatives and maintaining quality standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, implement and test current and new product lines.
• Analyze existing systems and processes to identify value-added and non-value-added activities to help solve design challenges.
• Identify opportunities for preventing waste and inefficiencies during production.
• Manage engineering projects in a timely manner and through the life of the project.
• Utilize engineering principles and methods to ensure the safety, reliability, efficiency, and quality of products.
• Prepare and review technical specifications, drawings, calculations, reports, and documentation.
• Collaborate with other engineers, managers, production workers, and outside personnel to design and apply new systems and processes while providing technical support and guidance.
• Investigate and troubleshoot system failures, malfunctions, defects, or complaints.
• Perform extensive testing and validation of designs to ensure reliability, performance, quality, and safety standards.
• Conduct and analyze research while studying new technologies to innovate and design solutions or products.
• Comply with all applicable codes, standards, regulations, and policies.

Qualifications :

Physical Demands : The associate may lift and / or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds. Stand and walk for long periods of time.
