Job Description

Mabbett & Associates, Inc. (Mabbett -), an award-winning leading provider of environmental, health and safety consulting, and engineering services to federal, state and local agencies, and private commercial, institutional and industrial clients nationally. We are seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to join our Safety, Health and Industrial Hygiene Practice. Typical activities, include but are not limited to :

• Collect various types of industrial hygiene samples under chain-of-custody procedures.
• Conduct compliance audits and inspections to include hazard surveillance, job hazard analysis, training program development and implementation.
• Interpretation and identification of applicable EHS and OSHA regulations.
• Updating of existing or developing new EHS programs.
• Data entry and analysis.
• Report writing.
• Travel to client sites (mostly within the DC metro area)

Location : This position is based out of the firm's Mid-Atlantic Regional Office in Alexandria, VA.
