  • End Date : February 11, 2026\n
  • Duration : 13-week contract\n
  • Shift : 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM (12-hour night shifts)\n
  • Hours per Week : 36\n
  • Estimated Weekly Salary : $2100-$2250\n
  • Dress Code : Navy blue scrubs required\n
  • EMR : Epic (Epic EMR experience preferred)\n

    • \n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Active RN license (New York State or compact license accepted)\n
  • Minimum 1 year of recent CVICU or ICU nursing experience\n
  • Experience caring for immediate postoperative cardiac and vascular surgery patients in an ICU setting\n
  • Trauma level one hospital experience required\n
  • Proficient in advanced hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, arterial lines, spinal drains, ECG interpretation, temporary pacemakers, and titration of vasoactive / inotropic drips\n
  • Epic EMR experience required\n
  • Competency assessment required within 24 hours of application\n
  • Current email address required for communication and testing\n
  • Must wear navy blue scrubs during shifts\n

    • \n\nCVICU RN Responsibilities\n \n

  • Provide expert nursing care to high-acuity CVICU patients, including those recovering from complex cardiac and vascular surgeries\n
  • Monitor and manage advanced hemodynamic parameters and life-support equipment\n
  • Interpret ECGs and respond promptly to cardiac emergencies\n
  • Administer and titrate vasoactive and inotropic medications as ordered\n
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes\n
  • Accurately document patient care and interventions using Epic EMR\n
  • Maintain strict compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards\n
