TX 15 Logistics Support Specialist

Description

• Supports department and company objectives through a variety of administrative, clerical, budget planning and continuous process improvement duties.
• Performs and coordinates administrative tasks (word processing, document preparation / management and file maintenance as required).
• Coordinates preparation of records such as agenda, notices and minutes for department management and team.
• Utilizes SAP for procurement processes, financial budget data, headcount tracking and human resources records.
• Schedules meetings and appointments, handles travel arrangements, and coordinates departmental projects.
• Arranges travel plans, itineraries, and compiles expense reports.
• Creates and maintains service contracts; creates requisitions, purchase orders and processes invoices to Accounts Payable.
• Supports management to maintain target achievement and task completion as assigned.
• Contributes to projects and supports continuous improvement activities.
• Promotes the principles and values of Plant Spartanburg in daily activities and future planning.
• Understands and models VPS (Value Added Production System) Principles and concepts of Standard Work and Problem Solving.
• Adheres to 5S and Safety Standards and Principles.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
