Business Manager For Workforce Community Education
The Business Manager for Workforce Community Education (WCE) builds support for National University by understanding our business objectives and strategically analyzing relevant data to help us improve and meet our goals. Partners across WCE to align marketing efforts, ensuring coordinated plans across verticals and regions. The incumbent also oversees promotion of the organization's LinkedIn company page and manages promotional items through the virtual system, including stock-level monitoring. Providing high-quality service to university stakeholders, clients, and students while upholding professional standards and ethical principles supports the business partnership opportunities to the assigned key market(s).
Additionally, the Business Manager assists the verticals and regions in prospecting and developing new business opportunities through partnerships. They steward strong relationships with key external constituent groups to include organizations and industry associations known and unknown to National University. The goal of these relationships is to attain partnerships for National University's Workforce Community Education (WCE) division, which will result in enrollment growth for the university by creating pathways for employees to become aware of National University's program offerings and educational benefits.
Essential Functions :
- Collaborate with other Workforce Community Education (WCE) teams and leadership to align program approaches and development with identified market force needs and to influence marketing strategy, making data-driven decisions.
- Develop and maintain scalable reporting dashboards to track key partnerships and KPIs, providing actionable insights to drive incremental growth for our partnership efforts.
- Lead the analysis of partnership performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for optimization.
- Work with and manipulate large complex data sets for report creation and execution of analyses.
- Apply business acumen and financial intelligence to interpret data in context of strategic objectives and guide decision-making.
- Project manage and follow through on enrollment activity, providing leadership in ensuring student information is updated and managed into systems accurately and in a timely manner for WCE teams.
- Develop and execute partnership agreements and MOU's that drive student interest and admissions.
- Liaise with Marketing and WCE teams to assist with and track campaigns and ideas, presentation creation, web site updates and links, flyers, etc. to ensure materials / advertising aligns to agreements.
- Assist in outbound and inbound marketing activities by displaying expertise in areas such as LinkedIn Company management, event planning, advertising, optimization and content development specific to WCE.
- Monitor and oversee WCEs online system for promotional products and flyers, coordinating with WCE and Marketing teams on replenishment and source of new items based upon team needs.
- Drive ongoing revenue and new opportunity targets in conjunction with WCE teams.
- Manage the tracking and processing of contract management, vendor agreements, purchase orders, and invoices.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in relevant field required.Masters degree preferred.Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a combination of business development, data processing, operations, and developing relationships with corporate leaders and academic professionals, required.Experience in higher education preferred but not required.Experience working in a technology-driven enterprise preferred.All skills, abilities and education will be considered for minimum qualifications.Competencies / Technical / Functional Skills :
Intermediate to advanced use of computers and Microsoft Office Suite, applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.Proficiency with Salesforce CRM and preferred familiarity with Anthology.Ability to learn new software programs as required.Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication, leadership, and collaborative abilities across diverse internal and external audiences.Exceptional community relations skills, ability to represent the University and help build public understanding of the University's brand and values.Able to lead, motivate and guide others and role model NU Ways of Working philosophy.Superior interpersonal skills with the ability to project professional competence, leadership capability and personal maturity with a wide range of individuals in a diverse community.Excellent analytical and organizational skills; strong attention to details and the ability to balance a variety of tasks and deadlines. Travel : Some Travel Required. Travels up to 30% for employer / partnership cultivation and participation in partnerships and system-wide events as a representative of National University.
