Overview
The National Sales Manager will spearhead strategic sales initiatives for Property Insight’s products and services nationwide.
This pivotal role involves leading and inspiring a dynamic sales team, cultivating key client relationships, and implementing effective sales strategies and processes to meet and exceed revenue targets.
The successful candidate will bring a proven track record of business-to-business sales leadership, a deep understanding of market dynamics, and the ability to drive performance through collaboration and innovation.
This role requires a results-driven mindset, exceptional written and oral communication skills, strong analytical skills, and the capacity to navigate a dynamic business landscape.
The role reports to the VP, Sales & Marketing.
Duties
1. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve Property Insight revenue targets on a national scale.
2. Lead and manage a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to drive individual and collective success.
3. Create best practice standards of performance, including CRM inputs and methods, and hold sales team accountable to those standards.
4. Identify key market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to optimize sales strategies and market positioning.
5. Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling services.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing and Product Development, to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.
7. Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to executive leadership with insights and recommendations for improvement.
8. Stay informed about industry regulations, market conditions, and emerging opportunities to shape business strategies and stay ahead of the competition.
9. Develop and manage the national sales budget, allocating resources effectively to maximize return on investment.
10. Stay abreast of advancements in technology and information services to ensure the company remains innovative and competitive in the marketplace.
Education
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
Experience
Proven track record of successful B2B sales leadership, preferably in the real estate information services sector or the public record information services industry.
