Part-Time Assistant Manager - Level 1

We're looking for music and pop culture fanatics to help create the best experience for our customers. As a Hot Topic Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1, you'll be a key part of our success by supporting the store leadership team in providing excellent customer service, ensuring fans can find their favorite merchandise. You'll use your fandom knowledge to train new recruits and support daily store operations and sales goals.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Provide an engaging shopping experience that encourages customer loyalty. Demonstrate product knowledge and customer service skills.
• Step in as needed to support store leadership, covering the sales floor and providing support when required.
• Open and close the store as scheduled, managing store keys responsibly.
• Operate the register, process transactions, and use your fandom expertise to promote sales through benefits like BOPIS and curbside pickup. Also, handle register closeouts and communicate shortages or overages to management.
• Understand store sales plans, goals, and key KPIs such as UPT and ADT.
• Assist with planogram updates, including store layout, wall displays, fixtures, and merchandising.
• Share fashion and music trend insights with management and HQ partners.
• Collaborate with store management to prevent theft and ensure store security.
• Help maintain organized stockrooms and a tidy store environment.
• Contribute to building a passionate, collaborative team to run the store effectively.
• Perform any other duties assigned by your Store Leader.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Pay range : $15.50 - $17.85 per hour. Final salary depends on education, location, experience, and other factors.
