At BluePearl Pet Hospital, our Client Service Coordinators are vital to our hospital's success. In this role, you are the first BluePearl Associate that clients see. You will ensure each client receives the care and attention they need, functioning calmly and compassionately in emotionally challenging situations.
As a Client Services Coordinator :
- Greet clients warmly and make eye contact when they enter the hospital, offering a professional acknowledgment.
- Maintain a friendly smile, strong eye contact, and an approachable demeanor.
- Be a compassionate listener.
- Speak clearly, slowly, and calmly in person and over the phone to ensure clients understand.
- Assess each client's needs and the pet's condition upon arrival.
- Determine whether an emergency is a "stat" or "standard" emergency.
- Respond to non-patient calls or visitors and direct them to the appropriate team member.
- Confirm all appointments in advance, providing accurate information to clients about preparing their pets.
- Offer emotional support and resource materials to grieving clients discreetly and compassionately.
- Serve as a liaison between clients and service agencies during pet remains handling, ensuring a complete and respectful process.
