Description : Join a team of 7
neurointensivists, alternating weekly coverage at OhioHealth’s two
largest hospitals, Riverside Methodist Hospital and Grant Medical
Center
See a wide range of cases in our amply
staffed 32 bed “closed” model Neuro Critical Care Unit at
Riverside. Riverside, the first Joint Commission certified
Comprehensive Stroke Center in Ohio, boasts some of the highest
patient and procedural volumes in the country. Riverside is a Level
II Trauma Center (applying for Level I) with heavy volume
neurosurgery center (~12 neurosurgeons) and Level IV Epilepsy
Center. Current services are expanding to include NCC consultations
at Grant Medical Center. Grant is a Level I Trauma and Primary
Stroke Center which sees a high volume of neurotrauma patients.
Grant is Ohio’s busiest Level I Trauma Center & the 5th busiest
Trauma Center in the nation.

days off schedule, with ~6000 encounters per year
No General Neurology call coverage
No acute stroke alert coverage
