Director Sales & Marketing

The role involves coordinating between railroad operations, customer service, and commercial support groups to ensure excellent customer experience. Key responsibilities include :

• Collaborating with customers to understand their book of business and seek solutions to grow the business.
• Working with internal teams to secure new business and grow the current customer base.
• Preparing annual revenue and carload budgets, analyzing variances, and providing market analysis to senior leadership.
• Negotiating rates with customers and revenue divisions with connecting carriers.
• Maintaining pricing administration and related documentation processes.
• Assisting in resolving pricing, assessorial, and payment-related disputes.
• Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with customers and representatives from partner and connecting railroads.
• Reviewing, updating, and understanding railroad tariff documents.
• Managing other projects and performing other duties as assigned.

Required Skills And / Or Experience :

Travel : This position has up to 40%-50% overnight travel.
