Summary : The Program Manager of Independent Living oversees the daily operation of an In-Home Supports or Community Supports based program. The oversight includes all programmatic administrative responsibilities required to run the program.
Schedule : Monday-Friday 9 : 00AM-5 : 00PM (40 Hours per week)
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
- The Program Manager is responsible for the daily operations of the program, to ensure that performance standards are upheld and that all individuals and staff are working in accordance with agency requirements, mission, goals and principles.
- Ensure program, agency and accreditation standards are met with regard to quality of care including individual behavior and treatment plans, ISP documentation, HCSIS, and other documentation as required, and in line with Bridgewell Policies & Procedures.
- E nsure the staffing needs of the program are met based on defined ratios and attendance of persons served. This includes coordination of work schedules, hiring of new staff, and coordinating the use of per diem and agency relief staff, as needed.
- Assist program participants with all medical and clinical appointments including transportation to and from appointments.
- Provide leadership to all staff by creating a positive work climate and creating a cohesive team environment.
- Promote the professional growth of all staff through coaching, mentoring and continuous training.
- Ensure ongoing system for measuring quality of services and compliance with DDS regulations and Bridgewell policies and procedures.
- Ensure that services are maintained according to DDS, CARF and all applicable regulatory standards. Ensure compliance with program budgets through consistent monitoring of financial analysis and various reports.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with funding sources, community groups, families, and other service providers.
- Positively manage staff by conducting monthly supervisions with each staff and team meetings, supporting, coaching and mentoring staff to develop skills and abilities, and providing recognition opportunities for staff.
- Provide timely Performance Evaluations. Ensure performance standards are met, and proactively address performance concerns, working with program management and Human Resources, as appropriate.
- Ensure self and employees maintain certifications (such as CPR / 1st Aid, MAP, PPS and PABC, as required) and complete all other training requirements of Bridgewell and the program's funding sources.
- Support, respect, and promote an environment which fosters Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging for all employees and people in our services.

- Provide coverage to individuals as needed
- Participate / manage after hours on-call rotation.

Required Education / Experience :
Bachelor's Degree is preferred ORAssociate's degree with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a direct care role ORHigh school diploma with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a direct care roleAt least 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role is required.Working experience in understanding the clinical needs of the people served is required.A valid US driver's license and one year of driving experience is required.Required Skills / Knowledge :
