Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Chief Nursing Operator to lead our Cleveland-based home health and hospice operations. This executive role is responsible for driving strategic growth, ensuring operational excellence, and fostering a culture of accountability and innovation. The Managing Director will oversee day-to-day functions, financial performance, compliance, and community engagement while aligning with the organizations mission to deliver high-touch, high-tech, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Lead strategic planning and execution for the Cleveland market, aligning with organizational goals.
- Drive market expansion, identifying new service lines and community engagement opportunities.
- Champion innovation and technology integration, including tools like PerfectVisit.
Operational & Financial Oversight
Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring quality, compliance, and efficiency.Ensure adherence to CMS, state, and local regulatory standards.Manage budgets, financial performance, and resource allocation to support sustainable growth.Growth & Expansion
Identify and pursue new geographic and service line expansion opportunities.Lead integration of mergers and acquisitions within the Cleveland market.Culture & Team Development
Build, mentor, and empower a high-performing leadership team.Foster employee engagement, retention, and a culture of excellence.Represent the organization at community events and industry forums.Risk Management & Governance
Implement processes to manage operational, financial, and regulatory risks.Provide regular performance reporting and insights to governing bodies.Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, Nursing, or related field (Masters preferred).8+ years of progressive leadership in home health, hospice, or healthcare operations.Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, compliance standards, and accreditation requirements.Proven track record in driving growth, operational efficiency, and financial performance.Experience with mergers, acquisitions, and service line expansion.Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Proficiency in leveraging healthcare technology to improve outcomes and efficiency.Work Environment
