We're seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented, and motivated Electrical Project Manager to lead commercial electrical projects from concept to completion. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex challenges, and is passionate about delivering high-quality work on time and within budget.
You'll be responsible for overseeing multiple projects statewide, managing everything from planning and budgeting to execution and closeout. Strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a proactive mindset are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Execution
- Organize, supervise, and direct assigned electrical projects
- Oversee planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution from start to finish
- Conduct site visits, evaluate scopes, and create detailed take-offs
- Monitor and document project progress using company software
Client & Team Collaboration
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates and resolving issuesCoordinate with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teamsFoster a collaborative, safety-first culture across all job sitesAttend coordination meetings with architects, engineers, and other tradesEstimating & Financial Oversight
Prepare accurate cost estimates based on specs, materials, and laborDevelop competitive bids and pricing strategiesManage change orders, RFIs, and maintain cost control throughout the project lifecycleAttend job-cost meetings and maintain budget controlCompliance & Reporting
Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA, NEC, and Florida Building CodesGenerate reports on project status, risks, and financial performanceEnsure all installations meet quality and code standardsRequirements
10+ years of commercial electrical project management experience OR extensive assistant PM experienceProven ability to manage 3+ commercial electrical projects concurrentlyOSHA 30 certificationStrong planning, decision-making, and team-building skillsProficiency in Accubid, Bluebeam, Simpro, MS Project, and Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specificationsSkilled in forecasting material, equipment, and manpower needsExperience leading field teams and enforcing safety protocolsValid driver's license with clean driving recordAbility to pass background and drug screeningCommitment to exceptional customer service and communicationExperience with large-scale commercial builds or renovationsFamiliarity with local permitting and inspection processesJob Type : Full-time
