Key Responsibilities

Review individual and small business tax returns for accuracy and compliance with regulations

Verify tax forms and calculations, ensuring proper documentation supports all tax positions

Provide feedback to tax preparers and communicate with clients to resolve discrepancies

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, EA, or equivalent certification required

3+ years of experience in tax preparation and review, focusing on individual and small business returns

In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations

Proficiency with tax preparation software, preferably Lacerte

Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage multiple tasks efficiently
