We are seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN who understands the importance of quality patient care. Here are some key responsibilities :
Use radioactive materials and sophisticated imaging equipment to gather diagnostic information.Adhere to safety measures for handling radioactive materials in compliance with regulations.Conduct Nuclear Medicine exams following established protocols.Administer prescribed radioactive materials to patients safely.Provide necessary protection and immobilization during procedures.Maintain quality control checks and documentation of radioactive materials.Collaborate with the Radiation Safety Officer to meet all quality assurance standards.Prepare and restock storage and exam rooms before the end of your shift.Transmit studies for cardiologists to ensure timely care.Qualifications :
One year of clinical experience in Nuclear Medicine imaging is preferred.Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) certification with Texas Medical Board (TMB).Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist through ARRT(N) or CNMT.Our facility, St. David's Medical Center, is a leading healthcare provider with three locations, specializing in diverse medical services, including a Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and advanced surgical procedures.
