Come join our team and play a key role in the financial success of our organization! Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team specializing in jet charter operations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance, with a particular focus on the unique financial aspects of the aviation industry.
This role will play a crucial part in ensuring the financial health and compliance of our company's operations. What You'll Be Doing :
- Apply critical and analytical thinking to assess financial performance, explain variances, and strengthen accounting processes. Partner with business units to deliver financial insights, ensure compliance, and drive process and system improvements. Build, maintain, and refine financial models to support monthly reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making. Support the Staff Accountant with general ledger maintenance, journal entries, reconciliations, and month / year-end close, while providing guidance if needed. Design, implement, and manage multi-entity transaction flows to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Ensure compliance and maintain accuracy and integrity across all accounting processes and financial reporting. Qualifications : A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required. 5 to 7 years of experience in accounting, or a similar role. Demonstrated track record of increasing levels of responsibility, from managing small projects or individual contributions to owning large, complex initiatives.
- Strong foundation in accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting, with advanced Excel and financial modeling expertise; familiarity with ERP and financial systems. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented skills with a commitment to accuracy, integrity, and delivering meaningful insights. Effective communicator and collaborator, able to influence stakeholders, translate financial data for non-financial audiences, and thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. High level of integrity, adaptability, and teamwork, with a focus on continuous improvement and customer service. Compensation The base compensation range for this position is $90,000 to $115,000 annually.
