Infection Control RN / ADON Salary :
$54 - $56 per hour, based on experience.
Infection Control RN / ADON Shift :
Full-time. Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm. Day Shift.
Yeadon Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking an Infection Control RN / ADON to join our care team. We are energetic, positive, and successful.

ADON DUTIES
Assists the DON in overseeing nursing staff and operations. Helps develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols.
Provides leadership and support to nursing staff, including training, supervision, and performance evaluation.
Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care and compliance with regulations.
Participates in quality improvement initiatives and ensures adherence to standards of care and regulatory requirements.
Provides clinical expertise and guidance to nursing staff in complex patient care situations.
Infection Control RN Key Duties :
Daily rounds on unit to supervise, observe, examine, interview residents, evaluate staffing needs, monitor regulatory compliance, to achieve the care environment and to evaluate staff interactions and clinical skills competency.
Develops and maintains nursing policies and procedures that reflect current standards of nursing practice and facility philosophy of care consistent with state and federal laws and regulations.
Establishes and implements infection control program designed to provide a safe, sanitary, and comfortable environment and to prevent the development of disease and infection.
Provides education to all departments on the application of infection control principles and procedures to specific situations.
Develop and implement comprehensive nurse onboarding program, including orientation and training of new nurses and other clinical staff.
Train and certify staff in CPR, and ensure all staff are current in their certification.
Infection Control RN / ADON
Requirements :
Experience with Infection Control practices.
Knowledge of MDS and Care Planning Process
Graduate of a Registered Nurse degree program of college or university.
Current CPR instructor certification
Basic computer skills required, including experience with Microsoft Office, Internet, Web applications, PowerPoint, and Excel.
