Job Summary :

The Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining servers, workstations, and related infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability. This role provides technical expertise, leads complex projects, and serves as an escalation point for high-complexity incidents while collaborating with stakeholders to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

• Establish objectives and goals for servers, workstations, and applications aligned with organizational IT strategy.
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth operation of IT systems.
• Perform ongoing performance tuning, upgrades, and resource optimization.
• Lead complex projects and act as escalation point for high-complexity issues.
• Design, configure, and implement server-based software and hardware solutions with minimal impact on network performance.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, procedures, and protocols.
• Ensure operational requirements for network servers, workstations, and applications comply with institutional policies.
• Off-campus support may require use of a personal vehicle with valid license and insurance.
