Role Overview
The Content Experience Specialist II develops and executes digital, physician-focused content strategies that support marketing objectives for the Interventional Coronary Therapies franchise. This role requires strong digital marketing expertise, hands-on content creation skills, and the ability to translate audience insights into impactful, multi-channel communication experiences. The specialist will collaborate cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Digital Marketing, Design, IT, and external agencies to ensure content is optimized, on-brand, and aligned with best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute content and communication plans for physician and HCP audiences.
- Use insights and research to build messaging themes, content strategies, and communication journeys.
- Create message maps, brand strategies, and digital content assets (strong copywriting required).
- Manage external agencies and vendors; ensure deliverables meet strategy and quality goals.
- Partner with analytics teams to test and optimize content across digital channels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Design, IT, etc.) to ensure alignment.
- Maintain brand consistency and adherence to Boston Scientific guidelines.
- Share industry trends and best practices; act as a thought leader within the team.
Must-Have Skills & Qualifications
Experience & Education
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Business, or related field.5+ years experience in content strategy or digital marketing within med device, pharma, biotech, consumer healthcare, or other regulated industries.Experience producing digital-first content from concept through final production.Technical Skills
Strong digital marketing ecosystem knowledge (web, email, programmatic, paid / organic social, marketing automation, omnichannel campaigns).Copywriting expertise and digital storytelling skills.Understanding of brand management principles.
